2017 Catch Up - June

So technically it's 2018, but I still plan to finish catch up on 2017. June meant end of school and summer jobs, birthdays and swim time. It was great having the pool up and running again this year. Hopefully it will work for a few more summers.

JUNE 1 - Family pool time.
Sibling swim
Playing keep away or Monkey in the Middle;
I think Xela is in the middle
Aurora is able to plug her nose
with her lips.
Stupid, but useful human trick.
I think there is a little dunking going on here.
JUNE 7 - Neta's birthday

Happy Birthday Face
What or what could it be?
Unwrapping some sort of jewelry from Gma Hibbert
"We Love You" with a balloon "Neta" head
The kids grow up so quickly. We hope and pray that they become kind and compassionate people.

JUNE 10 - Service Project
Eric is asked to organize service projects regularly, in order to help members of our congregation. As members of the Scott family, we are the first "volunteers" that "sign up." This particular day, someone was needing help moving out of her house, but her house was infested with little creatures that no one wanted to take home, so  Eric had some hazmat suits that each of us put on.

JUNE 20 - Aurora's birthday
She's SIXTEEN!! Thankfully, my girls aren't boy crazy. They have boys that are friends whom they hang out with and text, but they don't do a lot of dating. As you get older, the Hibbert boxes get smaller (actual money replaces gifts). Sadly, I don't have many pictures of this year's bday event

ASSORTED JUNE PICS
Super Nate's failed attempt to pull the strap
out from under the tree trunk.

Pearl, our foster pup
We took care of her from Feb - Aug;
kids fell in love with her.
When she died, she left a hole
in their hearts.
