Since 2002, when we moved to Indiana, we have been going to Waterman's Farm for their Fall Festival. This year's trip was our 15th anniversary, not that we did anything special or different but interesting that we've lived here that long. Additionally, it will be our last year with everyone living at home, so we couldn't NOT go.

FALL FESTIVAL

| Nate hiding in the hay bale maze |
Who crochets during a festival?? My daughter of course Eric along for the ride; acting as sunglasses holder. |
Graigry conquered the "Tired" lizard |
| Who can resist a sand box with tractor tires? |
| A picture taken of a picture taker |

Neta snuggled safely in the lizard's mouth |

Just for fun - 2010 pics v 2017 pics (Wish the 2002 pictures were on my computer.)

| Ready for the corn maze |
We've usually taken turns, letting each kid decide which direction to walk down next. I think they pretty much memorize the maze in the first go and then purposefully go in circles.
| Betcha can't find Ro! |
| Someone is in there, just not sure who... |
I know they're all in this one. Again, Aurora demonstrates her superior hiding skills |
I call this the vomit machine. Kids tried to coax me on, but I'd rather keep stomach contents INSIDE my stomach. :) |
What were they waiting for? Xela looks like she's praying Neta looks bored |
PUMPKIN PICKING TIME
| Which one? Which one? |
Aurora appears.... ....undecided. |

I love pictures/moments like this |
October 18 - Lunch time walk. I love walking the trail near work when the weather is nice. During the spring and fall the leaves are just beautiful, which causes me to pull out the picture taker.
October 20 - It was such gorgeous fall weather on this Friday, work closed early so we could enjoy it. Enjoy it my family did. We went kayaking on last time before cool temps set in. We go to Broad Ripple Park that has a free dock. Sadly, Xela had to work, but the rest of us played on the White River for a mile or so.
Graigry thought he's try to stand; thankfully he did not fall. |
| Looking for some last minute shells before loading up |
October 26 - We got around to carving our pumpkins BEFORE Halloween, which isn't always the case. Some ideas didn't work out so well and the pumpkin was sacrificed to the compost while others worked out great.
Graigry going at it; hoping creative vision becomes reality |
Neta using the computer for pumpkin design inspiration |
Knives, markers, computers the kitchen table became a workshop |
| Nate's owl under the moon |
| The kids are so creative |
Looks even cooler with the light behind it |
| Neta's kitten in the starlight |
October 27 - Awards Ceremony at Paramount School of Excellence. Nate and Neta aren't big fans of their new school. They still work hard and are recognized for their efforts.
SUCH SMARTIES!!
And then there's Graigry, who chooses not to be on camera |
October 28 - Thor and Trunk or Treat pictures
It's a bunny burrito!! We thought it was quite funny, but Thor wasn't as amused. |
Theme: Disney's Hercules Nate = Pegasus (we forgot his ears) Neta = Pain and Panic (thus the two different colors) Aurora = Megara Graigry = didn't want to be Hercules
On Halloween night, I dressed up as Hercules, but Xela has that picture. Xela made all the costumes accept Aurora's and a few pieces of Nate's |
