2017 Catch Up - September

September 2 - Travelled to Tennessee to attend Elizabeth Walker's baptism. It was a sweet experience once we arrived, but getting down there met an obstacle. Thankfully the Lord's angels watched over us as we discovered a deflating tire at a gas station. Thank you for your tender mercies Father!

September 15-16 - Ward Camp out. This is an annual event for the Crossroads Ward and this year we had it at a different venue. It was a little different with new faces since the boundary changes, but still fun. There was the usual hot dog/hamburger dinner and field to play in, cabin and tent camping available and late night fire pit. This year though, Scotty (my father-in-law) brought his rocket launcher (2-liter bottles filled with air & shot into the sky) and karaoke. Good times were had by all who attended.

this game with Paul Sorensen. He had a definite
height advantage, even giving her the uphill side.
