Easter Egg Hunt - April 6

We now have two girls that are the bunnies' helpers. With a vacant house, that we finally own now that the bank came down to a semi reasonable price after the whole seven year court battle, there were even more places to hide eggs.

Pre-hunt conference: setting the boundaries & rules
This was Graigry's last year because next year he will be 12 years old and become a bunny helper. Therefore, Eric and Xela worked hard to find the best hiding places (like in on of the ceiling fans in the vacant house). That was one of the funnest things to watch.
There was one on the trailer;
it was one of the first places the boys looked.
They know their daddy so well!
Graigry knew his eggs were going to be hidden
especially hard, so he was trying all the
hard to reach places.
I found it!!
Hunting in Grandma Scott's backyard.
There were three backyards and two garages
open for hiding.
In the dishwasher? Of course!
A Happy Hunter
He is walking right past an egg.
Can you see it?
Strike! No eggs in the grill.
Eric hid one of the eggs in his pocket.
When giving hints to Nate about his egg,
Eric would say it was in whatever yard Eric was in.
It was so fun to watch the confusion on Nate's face.
Neta found a hard boiled egg;
Grandma Scott hid the hard boiled eggs
that the kids spent time decorating.
First time we've done that.
Counting her many bl-egg-sings.
Kids seemed to be pretty happy with the finds. Even the bunny helpers had a stash set aside for them to enjoy. There were many more eggs than usual with the hard-boiled eggs they collected. Those were more first come, first grab. The rest of the candy eggs were, as usual, more equally divided.
